Surfing on the net is always posing unseen threats to one's privacy. Whatever anti virus software might be installed in your PC, still malware / trojan / virus attacks just don't seem to stop and keep bothering as a regular nightmare.

Lately Google Chrome seems to be coming as a boon to all internet surfers with its unique inbuilt 'Phishing and Malware protection' tool in the browser itself. I've been using Google Chrome now for quite some time and everytime it finds any malicious script / threat in any webpage, it takes you to a warning webpage. Blocking unwanted pop ups is another feature which is found in most of the other browsers also but the anti malware feature promises to make your surfing tension free.

By default when you download and install Google Chrome from http://www.google.com/chrome , this security feature is 'On'. However if you wish to see, you can do so by going under Tools > Options > Under the hood > Security.

Another utility feature offered by Google Chrome is that of opening several tabs for different websites instead of separate windows, which makes your cross website surfing more convenient.
